Running Windows Vista 64-bit.
This seems to be happening mainly when I am trying to paint trees on to my terrain. Basically I click to enter a value mainly in one of the boxes and with other places, it highlight everything and I can see where I am typing. When I do it for trees, I click on the box and nothing is highlighted. I try to click/hold and drag and still nothing is highlighted. So I just click and then start typing and the values are being entered into another box but when I finish by hitting enter, the value is then places in the right box. Is this happening for anyone else?
No, but close enough.
I had an issue similar to this. Every time I clicked on an inspector field to update it, it wouldn’t highlight it to show I’m editing. When I enter numbers, it actualy writes them just fine, and when I hit TAB and enter new numbers, it updates the next field, but gives no visual indication that I’m editing. Funny thing was, if I hit backspace on a field containing a number to erase, instead of clearing the field, it eventualy changed to 0. Not empty.
I didn’t think about it too much, since a restart of Unity fixed it and I was just messing around with all of the tools of 2.5 to check them out. Didn’t happen to me since…
