Issue with Unity Web player auto update from html.

Hi Unity People,
I am having issue with web player version.
I am using http://webplayer.unity3d.com/download_webplayer-3.x/3.0/uo/UnityObject.js in my webplayer.html file.
I am using Unity 3.5.6 to make web builds.

According to documentation, this js file gets load from above URL initialize unity player embed function. But after download, it should check for latest version of Unity Player Plugin. I am running Unity web player version: 3.5.6f7 web player plugin version: 4.1.2.67171

My questions are:

  1. Does Unity actually check for latest web player / plugin version or just check for whether they are installed or not?
  2. How can i check manually for latest unity version available Unity Webplayer / plugin?
