The asset store is now showing two of everything in my download list. The first one has the ability to import/download/review/history. But the second copy of the listing is only showing review/history.
Just an FYI if you asset store developers are reading this.
Yeh I am getting that too. Basically every item (NOT Unity default extensions) will show up twice in Unity Download Manager. I think this is a server side problem - because some of the items/extensions I have not update will show up as older version first, while the second “duplicated one” will show the latest version from Asset Store.
Same issue here. It only occurs when accessing the Asset store Download Manager from within Unity but seems to be fine directly from the browser outside of Unity.
It´s not that every item is shown twice… the items are linked incorrect… if i click update NGUI, it updates “standard/particles” if i update liquid particles, it updates water basic (pro) …and so on! ._.
I have a problem with the version of my downloaded products. For example, the real “Ultimate FPS Camera” version is 1.4.0 and the Download Manager showing V3.5.0.0 and suggest me to upgrade…
I am seeing that now as well. Yesterday everything appeared twice. Today items that appeared showing that there was a new update (every one of them showed the current version as v3.5.0.0). After updated a second link with the Unity logo appeared with the title of the updated asset. However, the on import the assets are not the correct items.
Yeah, unfortunately the fix we released earlier didn’t removed all the duplicates yet.
We are aware of this issue and we are currently working on it and will release the fix as soon as possible. I’ll post back here as soon as I have more info.
Yep, Unity Asset Store just officially gone FUBAR!
Many of the popular extensions are now reporting as “v3.5.0.0” in the Asset Store - namely PlayMaker, Antares Universe… and many others. I also noticedd not all of the extensions are affected, just some. Some people in the PlayMaker thread are reporting the items imported from Asset Store are not what they appears to be - some are imported as incomplete package, while some are completely wrong package.
