I was thinking if they creat another concert in the Tokyo DOM with a 20m one! haha!
But yeah in Japan everyday a new crazy stuff is released!
About America I recently heard they found water on Mars and want to send some people overthere… and yesterday NASA then a machine on the Moon researching for water too… and really want to build something overthere too! hahah crazy!!!
It wont be long before Earth looks like the moon so no need to send a man there… That Nasa BS stuff gets me totally furious yeah lets F**k up our Planet and then head for the stars…!
It seams to have a new concert with the virtual girl…
If you check the first url when I opened this thread, 3D looked quite fake, we can understand there is a glass or something they will project the video.
On the new version, technology increase :
Now people are around the 3D character and the model is quite realistic, you cannot understand there is a trick.
Like a real character moving front of you O_O
Now in Japan you can say you like Ayumi Hamasaki or this 3D character. Distance starts to be very small.
Translating the comments, there about 39 track song in the concert, and about 2500 persons came as fan.
If you understand how it works, you clearly understand that it’s not technically ground-breaking. People cheer for a lot of things, that doesn’t mean they are advanced.
It’s always like this. If people don’t know how things work they either love it or hate it. For example I know how to develop games, but some of my clients, the ones don’t know how the games created, when they see my previous work they either approach to me like “Oh my god how the heck did you create it, it’s brilliant!” while some others say “Just 2 pictures moving on the screen bah!”(Especially the ones on tight budgets ).
My father always says “The appreciation of the one, who is not familiar with the work, is invalid.”
I think samavan didn’t want to point only at the pure technical detail of the pseudo-hologram, but more at the overall intent : installation, visualization, choregraphy, and even the overall design. This would feel a bit joybreaking to find all this work “already belonging to the past”.
Please Mortis, could you explain how they built a complete 360 degree transparent screen without deformation of the 3D model during the projection?
Look, there are hologram on Japan mobile, it can create a mini 2 cm hologram on the top of your phone.
It was in a Japanese publicity last year.
Do not make me believe they added a 2 cm wall on the top of the phone…
Here is the video of the Mobile phone company in one of their show space :
Then one more time, people can see it from all angle, turn around etc… Not move front of, but turn around.
And same in the url I gave on the top, if you got to 0:25, you will see people around the scene.
I am open to all explanations
And yeah I said High Tech, because this is exactly the kind of stuff you can see in Ghost in the shell.
And if I do not see the transparent wall in the youtube movie (if there is really one), I didn’t see wall in ghost in the shell too.
Then high-tech product.
(I think iPhone was an High Tech product 3 years ago…)
Also this kind of show is very rare.
Some spoke of Gorillaz using the same techno, but the people are front of the scene, not around.
and I think this all the difference with the Japanese show!
