I am in the middle of creating 3D models of Japanese Ninja Weapons in a pleasing way that suits both modern and traditional historically accurate versions too.
My aim is to make these weapons so that it fits into most games and genre’s without disturbing most games these days, unless it is cartoony in which I will modify to fit it.
For example, if the weapon is used in a cartoon-inspired theme, it wouldn’t fit unless there were textures for that.
Say it is used in a semi-realistic yet fantasy/sci-fi/steampunk fashion, it would work well.
Here, so far, is a screenshot of a Kunai I am making and is unfinished so far.
Is anyone interested?

Shuriken Throwing Stars
Scythe
Hook-shot (like the ones you see in spy-movies where they climb up a building or Batman)
Pouch (for holding weapons)

So far, I think it will be around $25.00 or $30.00 at best.
As the price is not final, what do you all think about this and the price?
At what price would most of you buy it at?
Another question is, if I sculpted and altered an actual Ninja character in different builds/body-types, would anyone buy the entire pack?
I would rig and animate the Ninja as well if there was more interest, seeing as how the identity of a Ninja cannot be seen as their code is to have their existence not known.
What about separating the weapons from the character, what do you all think?
price seems little steep but they look good maybe if you sold at around $15 so about $2.50 a model range is better and id be interested as on of the class trees go to ninja/samurai

I have done commissions where an individual would pay via PayPal, but this is a bigger audience than what I am use to
I see that you missed the actual Ninja model part but that is okay, and the prices are just rough ideas because I am sure most people have a particular payment in mind or standard rate.
You also seem to make your own games too, so I am following your advice but I also want to see what others think :3
If things turn out good and there is a lot of interest I will actually make a full blown pack of a Ninja and weapons and possibly levels and stuff to go along with it as a construction set as I see most people do that anyway XD
If not many people interested and price right i could probably use the ninja/assassin/samurai stuff

But to be true to the history of Japan, Ninja’s and Samurai’s never liked each-other.
A small little history note, since I study Japanese language and culture daily, Ninja’s were sworn in secrecy to never allow their existence to be known albeit historical notes from the past do note the existence of such assassins, Samurai were more militant like the U.S. Army today and believed in extreme honor and dignity.
Anyway, history aside, I would be more than glad to do custom outfits, gear, armor, guards and so on :3

My idea is to make a few or several body-types for a Ninja, but I am thinking of a separate pack since Samurai’s are very different from Ninja.
In additional to body-types, I also think several various forms of gear, weaponry, outfits, guards and other accessories or anything suitable for a Ninja, in relation to real-world applications for realism, would be ideal.
So yes, I would enjoy making more for the Ninja but the down-side is it would cost more
I get the feeling though, that I could possibly make a few packs for weapons, gear and a Ninja or all-in-one.
Aside from my ramblings, what kind of gear or stuff were you interested in?
On that note, is anyone else making a type of Ninja, Stealthy, Spy or other game requiring a Ninja or Samurai?
Basicly the class tree goes fighter (base melee) then players can choose swordsman (basicly the tankish route) or ninja (agility and sneekyness) the ninja can then advance to assassin (basicly super ninjas) or samurai (the agile but slightly tankish) but since you was a previous ninja the training will be very hard to advance to samurai compared to assassin lol
So id need armour and weapons for them 3 sorts the game is coving all time frames and styles so it covers everything from the basic knifes and blow darts to high end stealth gear and blades

However, I do have one important question… why would a Ninja become a Samurai as a Ninja is sworn to life as a non-existent assassin being.
I mean no offense at all, but you could indeed offend a lot of people, especially if a Japanese person were to play it
What about classing a Ninja from a peasant, as it was historically accurate to a black-suited Ninja or something you creatively made?
I have never played a game, for a good reason, where you progressed from Ninja to Samurai or vise-versa… and you never see it in native Japanese games either
The point is that Samurai were Japanese military warriors in the shogunate or showa era of Japan as where Ninja were silent assassins who dedicated their lives to assassinate people whether hired or a thug to eradicate people.
Think of historically accurate Ninja as a thug or criminal
Anyway, I do not intend to change your game at all but I am just providing advice and suggestions as I do talk to and communicate with Japanese people :3
