Joints are not importing on the right position

The joints form my skinned meshes are not correctly imported with Unity 3. The position of the joints is incorrect. On my system is also standing a copy of Unity iPhone 1.7. There is everything imported correctly! Is there some import setting in Unity 3 that I have to set extra to get the same joints behaivor as in Unity iPhone 1.7? I use fbx files exported with Cheetah 3d and Carrara 8 Pro. Both seems to have the same problem. Should I fill in a bug report?

Can you post screenshots of what do you mean by “not on the right position”?

The first screen shot is from Unity iPhone 1.7 and the second one is Unity 3.0

The joints are in Unity 3 wrong positioned. I have really no clue why they are :face_with_spiral_eyes:

i also tried with the autodesk FBX converter the different FBX versions. 2006 t/m 2011. It made no difference at all!

Click the local button and turn it to pivot like you have in iPhone 1.7

Change to pivot did the trick :sunglasses:
