i want to simply bring a my object (thats made with a few capsule that are connected with hinge joints) thats swings to a rest after it swings a few times. How?? Please

You actually can. You need 3 animations, swinging left, right and still. If he swings from lets say the left, you attach him to a joint on the rope, when he releases, it crossfades back to still over like 2 seconds, when he swings from the right, it swings, when he gets off, it crossfades back. Very simple.
The only time I would use physics is in a true rope, in a normal game, I would not use it at all.

I’ve been poking around for a bit. I noticed that unity joints are pretty robust. I think it’d be cool if I can make a rig with said joints and then use the animator tool to make animations with a rig built in unity. Rather than calling up and blending baked animations The potential is there… Has anyone tried this ?
