Joystick/ Camera Problem

Hey All,
I am working on a game right now and I am using the Single Joystick Prefab. I got my character to work by pretty much utilizing most of the camera relative script from penelope. However, when I play the program the camera it shows my view no problem. BUT, when I add a smooth follow script from the built in smooth follow and set the target to the character the camera moves way far back. I have tried adjusting the distance and height… Nothing seems to work. I’ve been trying to search through the Camera Relative script to see if it is doing anything with the camera but its not so I am confused. Has anyone ever experienced a problem like this before? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Hi, welcome to the forum!

For the standard Smooth Follow script supplied with Unity, the overground distance is fixed, and although the height can vary it is pretty tightly determined by the camera settings. Is it possible that the camera is at the right distance, but using a wide field of view? This would make the scene appear small if you were expecting the default field of view, which is 60º.
