Just a little tip, unity community moderators.

when you make changes that directly affects someone, let that someone know.

for example

if you delete someone’s post, let that person know that you did that, and maybe even why.

thank you.

Speaking for myself, mostly I just delete spam (and I’m not gonna tell the spammers why their posts were deleted  ), or move topics that were posted inappropriately (in which case there will be a link to the moved topic), but I can pretty much guarantee that if you have a post that was actually deleted rather than moved, it was because it didn’t follow the rules. You can easily see these rules in stickies at the top of every category. Please read them, and follow them. I seriously doubt any mods just randomly delete posts for no reason.

In any case, it’s possible your post wasn’t actually deleted, but simply auto-moderated. For example, any posts in the Collaboration category require moderation in order to appear. The forum also sometimes auto-moderates posts from new users who post links (in an attempt to reduce spam), though it’s not very consistent about it.

Hey Jeezker - I think you might be frustrated about something. Can you be more specific. As Eric said the moderators only ever delete spam, and very very rarely delete inappropriate posts, or posts that do not abide by the rules.

solved, everything’s ok
