Just another newbie you would expect posting here :)

Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself here, I am LF, and I have studied your engine for the past few days. I am very familiar with Dx Studio, most of you probably heard about that engine, and I have chosen to let go of dx studio and move to unity. I believe it’s the right move.
Take me as a newbie, one that doesn’t know much about unity.

I am good when it comes to Graphical Design and even hand drawings. Art is my number one target. I do both game design and programming with Javascript. My blog demonstrates a bit of my experience with game making. http://lfz2.wordpress.com/ I hope it’s not against the rules to post a link. If it is then I am sorry.
I believe that the blog can see words that I can’t.
I already like the way how unity is structured and organized. Very well indeed.
I hope that I will get a friendly welcome from a few people around here.
Don’t be too surprised if you see me asking questions on the forums.

Welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your stay, and I hope you stay long and be a part of the community.

We are here to help, just don’t ask ridiculous things ;).

On a side note, you picked a good day to join the forums as the speed increase by %1200 just today.

Welcome to the forums

Hey Killer1390, nice to meet you and thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome to this awesome community

Don’t be shy to ask for help here on the forums! Just make sure you do some research first  Many basic questions are already answered and with a simple use of the forum search and UnityAnswers you can find all the information you need.

Welcome to the forums!

Hey LZ, you know me from the dx studio forums!

Usually. I recommend searching Google for unity forum things as the search on the forums suck. ex: “how much does unity cost unity forums”

which should bring up some stuff on the forums..

Anything you can’t find at all with a reasonable answer, that is when you ask your question. Please enjoy Unity.

Actually yes, use a Google search, the top results for me are always from the forums anyway if there is relevant information.

If you do a search on “site:forum.unity3d.com how much does unity cost” then you get results limited specifically to this site only.

or even better Programmable Search Engine

Wow guys I never expected such friendly welcomes. I really like how this community is  thank you everyone

Welcome!
I did test DXstudio for a while myself and found the devs really helpful and friendly, but I ended up with Unity in the end

Hopefully you will have as much fun with Unity as I have had so far, so feel free to post questions, feedback, tips and tricks here when you have some!

Cheers,

Roald
