KABO (3D Platformer)

Hello. I started making a 3d platformer game. You can see the result for now in video

KABO - is a simple platformer game for kids.
-Playable with Xbox 360 and other controllers.
-The scene with best settings in FullHD per frame has for now ~35-45k verts and 70-85 draw calls per frame.
Waiting for comments

Sorry, the video is a little bit speed up, I dont know why, maybe something wrong with my video recorder settings
UPDATE 2013.12.09 (TestGameplay):

UPDATE 2013.12.23 Text Dialog Boxes
I tested new 2D system with Unity3D 4.3 and made some dialog boxes/sprites with animations.

Hey nice, i don’t see a lot of 3D platforms here ^^.
By the way you can combine the static platforms for less drawcalls.
Keep it up.

Thanks!^^

This looks really good!
But you might want to rethink the character style since they stick out like a sore thumb with the toon shader.
Looking forward to something playable

Keep it up!

Looks good!

Updated video today!

I don’t know about the argument goes, but the game looks pretty entertaining.

The graphics are perfect and the scenes design is not very complex, but maybe is just a demostration. On my opinion, the character style is very good (is an bear? looks like pedobear… haha, sorry cofcof…). Ah, a question: the christmas hat have some use or is just decorative?

Well, nice game  i like it.

regards.

Yeah bear , and yeah, there is minimalistic design, because the game is for kids, i dont need complex scenes. I don’t know why there is no simple funny games for kids or just for fans who like games like mario64, crash bandicoot…etc.
Everyone only tries to make horror, fps or mmo.
About hat- I am thinking to make open levels without start and finish. There will be challenges/quests like for example in tony hawk, where you have 2-3minutes and challenges like: Collect all words, Get 100.000 points, Find secret place or secret item and etc… and you can complete few of them, and you can play again to complete those quests that wasnt completed last time.
Im waiting for comments from gamers if they would like that. I want more opinions  sorry for my bad english

Oh, that is a nice idea. Well, i don’t know to what range of age are you pointing the game, but maybe for little kids the concept to challenge levels would be a little difficult, but anyway, it’s a great idea.

In my case, i would like the challange mode. Maybe one challenge could be something about christmas, where you have to complete the christmas tree, finding and get back all the parts around the map.

And… yap. I like this game, is a fresh idea, and likeable concept. We need more games for kid. But this looks really good, not just for kids also for everyone who like plataform games.

I excuse you for your english, now excuse me ha.

Well, keep up!

Regards.
