Keyframed mesh animations (not bones or vert animation questions)

Hi,

Does anyone know if Unity supports keyframed animation, for example from 3dsmax timeline. A cube moving and tumbling from one location to another via keys.

If it does support this, is the performance faster on iOS? We have the option of going with vert skinned meshes with bones, or just keyframing these chunks in and wondered if there was a performance increase in doing so?

I ask on the forums as we don’t really want to distract artists any longer than possible at this stage  thank you for your replies.

Also, if it does support keyframed object animation, is it possible to attach kinematic colliders to those so we can have levels that animate using animation but provide requisite physics feedback?
