Hi. I want to make some motion capture and i hope use to kinect camera but i must buy kinect camera except Microsoft. So anybody know kinect camera to buy except Microsoft. (I can buy everywhere)
So, you want to buy a Kinect Camera but not from Microsoft directly? You can buy a Kinect Camera at a good deal of other hardware suppliers, such as Amazon:

Asus xtion pro has a non microsoft sensor that is basically the same as the kinect 1. Works fine with Unity.
The kinect 2 is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the first generation though, not sure why you’d bother with the first gen…
The startup company Primesense used to have a whole bunch of kinect-like sensors but Apple bought the company and closed down sales to the public.

There’s a free project in the asset store for controlling avatars in Unity and has the install instructions/links for setting up OpenNI2/NITE 2, the alternative to Microsoft’s sdk and drivers.
Works with both the microsoft kinect 1 and primesense sensors (xtion pro uses primesense hardware), there’s also the carmine and a few other primesense sensors you can buy used.
Also google “Brekel Kinect”, it’s great for recording mocap data, versions for both old sensors and the new kinect 2.
Edit:: Also you can make browser games with the kinect/xtion pro using a plugin called Zigfu. It’s like the unity web plugin, you install once in your browser and it just works. They give several Unity example projects that have some neat functionality. Great introduction into Unity+motion sensors.
