Knowing what's new in online docs when still using 2.6 Pro?

I’m using 2.6 Pro on a large ongoing project and we’re not ready to upgrade the game to 3.0 yet until we’re ready to set aside the time to do so.

I consult the online docs pretty often while coding, and I just realized that although there is a “history” page in the docs showing what’s new in the 3.0 scripting reference, there’s no indication on specific docs pages as to which variables, functions, etc. are 3.0 only. That’s going to make it difficult for pros who are still using 2.6 for various reasons, for instance when I try to use something from the docs, have it crash, spend a bit trying to figure out why, then realize the thing I’m using is a 3.0 feature.

Just a little asterisk or something similar next to new items would have made sense I think. Any chance of that happening?

the doc is pretty surely 3.0 only, if you want 2.6 docs, use the one that comes with your install and/or put it into some private webhost for your own usage
