I’m using Unity on my surface pro and I am having many many issues with the user interface of the editor. In order to click anything on the editor with the touch screen, I have to double tap it and even that only works 50% of the time. I would be completely fine with just using a mouse instead except when I plug in a mouse I get odd reactions from the scene view. If I switch to any interaction with the hand tool (move, orbit, or zoom) my mouse gets snapped to the outside of the scene window making it completely unusable.
I have searched for any other issues like this but from what I can tell I am the only one. Is anyone else having this issue and if not, does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve them?
hello
it has nothing to do with Unity but with Windows 8. I had the same problem this afternoon and I just changed the Display settings to Large - 150% and now it works perfectly fine. Although on a laptop or desktop, the solution works the other way : Scene view mouse jumping - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions
I just wanted to bump this one. I just got a Wacom Cintiq Companion and I am seeing the same thing. It is even difficult just to close the app.
I do not accept this to be a Windows issue since Unity 3D is the ONLY program that is having the issue. I have run PhotoShop, IE, Chrome, Office, etc. and I am able to reliably “click” the “X” button with my finger or with the pen to close each of the applications without issue.
This is a pretty old thread. Anyone found an answer???
I had the same issue on Surface PRO 4.
Opening unity in Administrator mode, solve it
