Yay! KrabbitWorld Origins live on D2D!
So far we’re under action and adventure, PC Mac.
Just went live! :smile:

Mac and PC, UK and America D2D …
Whew! such a long road to get here. :smile:

As a side note, current owners of KWO can download the newer version with a more polished look or wait for the next update with patcher and brutal moves addition included.

On D2D we are listed under Action, Adventure, RPG and Indie… so far. :wink:

Congrats!

It would be nice and interesting to hear if you could post in this thread in a few weeks when you get your first sales stats what it means to sell on D2D. Would be quite interesting to hear if D2D is a viable sales channel.

It would be nice if folks in the Unity community would kick it off by showing some support by getting and playing KWO! Maybe even go as far as giving it a good rating. We’d be happy to share info not covered by NDA in that case.

Heck we’ve even thought of sharing source code in a special developer version.

Getting on D2D as an indie company is a huge thing. D2D and Gamespy are divisions of IGN which is owned by Fox entertainment. To get in front of an audience that big without having to pay big bucks is not easy to come by. We’ve been ignored by smaller portals and sent emails by some offering to do paid reviews (obviously something we can’t afford).

Needless to say, getting on D2D is a dream for us. One that we appreciate greatly.

We know our game is not a casual game, a small download or a simple fast to complete game and may be why only a very small handful of the community have bothered to download and play it even when free.
