Language Manager

I’m making a game that has to be in both English and Danish. And I’m not sure what the best option is for managing text in multiple languages. It will mainly be non-programmers who will be working with the text. What’s the best solution for multilingual games?

You could set up some kind of system where for every bit of text in the game it queries some table (either a text document or something more sophisticated) which has entries for every different language the text could be displayed in. As far as editing it goes, there’s no reason why the people working on the text need to be exposed to the programming bit- just give them a system where they can set a bunch of different strings for each text element in your game, one for each language.
