Is it possible to create a Phaser-like laser? if so how?
I’ve often found that continuous beams are best done with a thin cylinder you know is exactly one unit long. Since you know that, you just need to always have its z scale be the distance from the firing tube to the colliding surface. So, fire a raycast that ignores all player items like barrels and so on, set the laser scale, and put a particle system at the end of the laser beam.
Pulse is easy, it’s just a series of projectiles.
