Lego Micro Game - Imporing new models

Hello Internat!

I’m currently working on my lego micro game, and I’ve made several Models in Bricklink Srudio. that after Import it’s making the program and the game to lag extrely bad…
And it’s also seems like if the game is really big (by the size of the map) it’s super laggy too…
even if I’m trying to use only built in Models…

is there a way or a reason why it’s so heavy on the CPU and my computer can’t run it smothly?
is there a way to make it more efficient?

I’ve experienced that too. It seems to be worse when the model is selected so I put it down to the line drawing around each individual brick taking ages. I am on a laptop with dedicated card so in windows I set unity.exe to be forced to use the gpu and that helped a bit. Otherwise, I flip to wireframe mode to move big models.

I’m about to post about other issues I’m having with the Lego Microgame as the competition deadline rapidly approaches. Far from getting my back into Unity, this competition has driven me mad actually. Want to see through what my kids and I have started but it’s been so frustrating.
