Is there any known bugs with the lensflare these days? I did a forum search and it seems there used to be. See this pic, you can see the flare , but It doesnt “flare”. you can see the fx button is on, and I still have a flare layer on camera. its a default asset and I did have it working in this window at some point.
Whats the trick?

Does it work in the game view? Do you really need it in the scene view?
Well no I dont need it working in scene view-rather the gameplayers dont-
No it doesnt work in game view either, though when I had it working in scene view, it worked in game view

Is the texture or material missing? Start at the lensflare and go back through all connected components to see if they are connected / functional.
Thanks Yoggy-good idea. I did that and found the fog option box. switching it off gave me back my flare. I musta moved it too far from the camera…
