Lerpz thirdpersoncontroller script: Can't link

Hi folks,

I am walking my way through ths first demo. I’m following everyuthing fine until I get to the step where I attach the springfollowcamera to the nearcamae. This works, but when I try to change the target of the smoothfollowcamera to target the springfollowscript I cannot figure out the right user guesture to do so. It says drag the player
“Drag our Player GameObject from the Hiearchy Pane onto the Target setting to set it.”
This does not set it. When I try to set the target manually i loads a scene dialog but there is no Player there.

Your help is appreciated. I searched quite a while to find an answer and could not find one.

that’s correct; and the button next to the transform that brings up the scene dialog does not contain the player.
