LevelPlay Ironsource how to set skippable after 5 sec (on Ironsource)? Under 13 project

Hello
I just got rejection for an update from Google Play:

Ads not skippable after 5 seconds. Project targeting children under 13.

I use Unity Ads - I did set 5 sec skip on Unity Dashboard.
I use LevelPlay Ironsource - no idea how and where to set it?
I use AdMob I have no idea where to set it either. Just can’t find docs for it.

Can someone please let me know how to make ads skippable on Ironsource and Admob, please?
I’m trying to google it but can’t find anything that addresses this.
Please help if you know. Thank you.

Can anyone help, please? Is there a way for LevelPlay Ironsource to set 5 second skip for Rewarded Ads? If there is no way, why on earth all documentation says how to set-up for apps targeting children? What’s the point? If fails submission if ads cannot be skipped. Can someone from Unity LevelPlay please respond? Thank you.

Hi @71kris
When it comes to X button behavior/timers etc in ads, its generally a delivery configuration that will need to be set (or reset) by your account manager per network. Could you please open a support ticket for our team to track?

For Google/AdMob ads, you should reach out to your AM there seperately.

I’m assuming this is for interstitial ad units? Could you please share where the play store states this 5 second regulation?

Hello @cnguyen_unitylevelplay

Thank you for your reply.
(we paused delivery of Rw.Ads on Ironsource Dashboard and then our re-submission was accepted by Google).

We did reach out to LevelPlay/Ironsource support and were told ‘x’ is now visible on our Rewarded Ads. We re-enabled Ironsource delivery of Rw.Ads.
We use LevelPlay IronSource, Unity Ads and AdMob.

  1. It is possible to select skip after x seconds on Unity Dashboard,
  2. AdMob is skippable by default if I’m correct,
  3. LevelPlay/Ironsource is not it seems if rejection occured. There’s no option for LevelPlay/Ironsource to set ‘skip after x seconds’. At least we could not find it on IS Dashboard.

Here’s a rejection reason (from Google):

The reason for rejection was - ads for children, not skippable after 5 seconds.
You can download our game and test if Rewarded Ads are skippable or not. You don’t have to play, just wait until life points drop to 50% and ‘Show ad button will pop up’.

It would be good if setting x seconds skip on LevelPlay ISource Dashboard was available.

Hi @71kris
We’ll share this feedback with our platform team. But in the meanwhile, if you have a support ticket number, please DM it to me so I can adjust these values for your individual app.

Thank you @cnguyen_unitylevelplay for your reply. I was told by IS support that now on my IS Rewarded Ads ‘x’ will be ‘on’. It does sound a bit strange that it can be set on your backend but it is not available to manage by end users (me) on the IS/LevelPlay Dashboard.

That would be probably very useful for anybody targeting children under 13.

Thanks for you replies.

Hello! I have the same problem. I have already contacted support, my ticket number is 00563808, but I have not received a response yet. If possible, please reply as soon as possible, as I urgently need to release an update. Thank you!
