lg g3 wont connect to unity via unity remote

Hello unity users,

I just got my hands on a lg g3 and i wanted to develop on it and use unity.

I tried every thing, usb drivers reinstalled, the differend versions of the unity remote but nothing works for me.

If some one has a lg g3 that works with unity, could you tell me how you did it.
i’m running a windows 8.1 machine, and the lg g3 is the d855.

Thanks in advance.

I got it working for me, go to LG Software Update, search for LGD850 which is the LG G3 then click the Software Update tab below and download the software.

After you installed the software and you try to push to it with Unity, a popup will be shown in the phone asking to allow the computer, click yes.

Hey, I dont know if this will help in your case, but I have a Lg Volt which before the latest Unity update worked fairly well with Remote. Now to make it work is similar to old way of blowing on your nintendo.

1.)Shut everything off including Unity.

2.)I use CCleaner on my machine at this point(this may not be necessary)but you can find it here

3.)Start up your project again.

4.)Now plug in phone with Unity running and make sure your settings are right as stated above by @SkaredCreations.

This is very touch and go and I can only make it work here and there.

Another thing I noticed was that after each crash/Freeze of the Remote I had to re-do the process. After this it became much easier to just copy paste the apk to the phone each time and test that way.
