We have created 3D game for Android devices using Unity3D and we are focusing to support auto-stereoscope (glasses free) feature that LG Optimus 3D mobile has with Real3D SDK.
Is it possible to integrate Real3D SDK with Unity3D based Android application? If possible, please provide us the procedure to implement this cool feature.
I’d like to know this too, but also know Unity games are all compatible with the 3D Game Converter App released by LG. I believe you can submit profiles for it to show up automatically in the “3D Games” list when you open the app. I’ve been testing it with my game and it also works on every Unity release I’ve tried it with.
Thank you. These are great news.
But how is it going to work? If I make a game with Unity, is there any way of calling the “3d game converter” from inside my game automatically if I detect that it is an Optimus 3D device?
Or the user must be informed about this possibility and do it manually?
Anyway, if it could be accomplished without the converter would be perfect. I would buy any asset store app that did this.
I don’t know if it can be called in-game or not. Some games I have seen (Cordy and Dungeon Defenders) are able to show up on the games list when you open the 3D Converter App without manually adding it, though.
