License Cross Platform?

Hi, I’m just trying out the demo at the moment, but I have a question or two about the licensing if I choose to purchase (that I couldn’t seem to find the answer to though I’m sure the info is there somewhere):

When you purchase is the license cross platform? i.e. Can you install and run the single license on both Windows and OSX partitions or do you have to specify the platform you’ll be running from at purchase and stick only with that?

And second, what happens if you have a catastrophic HD failure, how do you unregister your licenses so you can transfer them onto a new HD/computer at that time?

You get two installations per license and you can mix and match the operating systems.

Notice that if you dualboot on a computer and activate on OS X and Windows both, these are counted as two activations even though its the same machine.
