I am an indie developer and I wish to learn and develop the game on unity platform; however i want to clarify a point about licensing.
Lets say I learn to develop the game on personal edition and develop the complete game on it; latter i get the pro edition and import and upgrade the game on pro then i launch the game and then go back to personal license. Is it OK to do so. ?
As currently i could not afford the pro setup for long.
Note: I will use personal license as long as I currently makes more than $100k in annual gross revenues or has raised funds in excess of $100k; when i start to earn more i will definitely stick to pro edition.
Secondly is there any download link for full setup for windows10 x64 bit.
$100K is the requirement for Plus, not Pro. $200K is Pro. In either case the minimum subscription is 12 months. There’s no point worrying about it until you actually finish a game and are making money, though; also there are no engine differences between any of the licenses. The download is at Download - Unity Store.
There’s no download link for the “full setup”, though. You need to use the installer for the various platforms you want to publish to (the base editor download includes two platforms). This is because the download would be very large otherwise and nobody uses every platform. In most cases you should just use the installer and select the bits you want.
