This isn’t a question about acquiring licenses for Unity, or the Unity licensing terms. Rather its about licensing the applications created from Unity.
What I’d like to understand is the way to license the resulting games, and ensure they are only installed on a set number of machines, or by specific users who have paid for it.
First, is there anything inherent in Unity that would prevent this from being possible? (I suspect there is not, but just want to cover my bases before committing to using Unity).
Second, if possible, how do people typically do this? Are there some general methodologies that are used? Are there third party libraries that handle this?
