Light explode when camera is switched

Is it a bug or did I set something wrong?
I want to know the keyword for this

(HDRP 2021.3.14f1)
Occurs when HDRP Quality is a specific setting
I’m not sure exactly which parameters are causing the problem.
I attached TEST_Quality.zip

reproduction of the problem in the HDRP demo scene
When the camera is switched,
the light source shines so brightly in a very short time that it ruins the screen.

how to reproduce

8652594--1164519--upload_2022-12-2_4-52-5.png

Create two Virtual Cameras
Camera Blends style is cut.
enter playmode
Set Active On/Off the vCam object to switch the camera
There’s a strange flashes occurs

It can be reproduced with a normal camera.
However, additional scripting is needed for an immediate transition between cameras.

I thought of this issue as a cinemachine issue,
so I wrote it on the cinemachine forum, and some tests and experiences have confirmed
that it is reproduced on a normal camera regardless of the cinemachine
So I think it’s a problem with HDRP and write it here again.
I want to delete the wrong article on another forum, but I don’t think I can delete it

Thanks for the report, replied in the original thread: Strange Flickering occurs when virtual camera is switched

Is this applied to 2021.3.17f1?
I tried to find the information in the release note, but I couldn’t find it well…
Is there any way to see UUM-XXXXX cases without links?

@SebLagarde

Is this solved in the latest version?
I still see a similar issue in the latest version.

  • 2021 LTS
  • 2022.2.8f1

It’s a very short moment, but when i swap the volume, a flash occurs in between.
In fact, this is a very big problem in certain situations.
If player switch scenes or change the player’s position, the entire screen pops brightly.

This bug still exists on version 2022.3. It also involves the Global Illumination Preprocessing. Do we have a patch on this?

It was a while ago, so maybe I didn’t remember it properly,
There seems to be some improvement, but no complete solution.
I think somewhere in Issue Tracker or Bug Report, they closed this issue as a non-important issue. :frowning:
