Light probes are invisible and don't contribute lighting.

Light probes are in my scene, if I go to their edit mode I can select them with box selection, despite not being able to see them at all, I only see the light probe group icon. Also they don’t work in terms of lighting dynamic objects.

Help would be appreciated.

Seems to work OK in 2020.1 alpha 11 but I recently did obliterate my library folder so it may or may not have helped.

2020.1.0 is most likely older, the fixes will be added later. Is there a reason to use 2020 anyway?

Latest URP is only available for 2020.

In 2020.1.6f1 the lightprobes appear black for me.

What are stable and/or feature rich versions for light probes?

I am running into this issue in 2020.2.3. The bug linked in earlier post by Unity is NOT the same bug as illinar describes in his original post. I have two 2020.2.3 projects open and one works and the other does not. I thought I was going crazy thinking everything was the same between both scenes, but it is indeed not working in the one I need it to. I am reimporting my library and am hoping that fixes it.

Reimported the library, didn’t fix. Found this post where the fix was switching layouts. Worked for me. Can't select Light Probes

2021.3.6F1. BUGGING AGAIN. ^^ LOL, changing layout works for me, ^^, unity are u kidding me? Thanks !!!

The same bug and the same solution exist in 2022.2.22f1.

Not sure what you’re expecting from an old tech-stream version that hasn’t been updated in 2 years (save for the CVE fix). You should probably at least try the latest 2022.3 patch.
