Hello i was wondering why lighting in unity does not account for some sides of objects there completely black i know in unity pro you get shadowing and global illumination but is there anyway to get around this without adding loads of point lights to every single object in the game here is a quick example just added a big cube dragged a terrain texture on it.
Just turn up the ambient light.
It can be found in the render settings.
i see what i did now i lowered the ambient light to black as to set a mood feeling instead of just reducing the intensity on the directional light to make the map darker thanks for that feel abit stupid …
is no working for me. Turn ambient up making something like more monohromatic plus kontrast efect
I had same issue. Fixed it by Auto generating lightmap
Half of this I wasn’t sure what it meant because I’m kinda a noob when it comes to unity, but the scene will look nice if I load straight into it through the editor, but once I load into it from another scene in my game, all of the objects will go black on a side or two
Editor has a bug with lighting if you auto-bake. Turn off auto-bake and bake your lights.
