Lighting looks worse after baking

For some reason after I bake the lights all the nice bouncing and reflections go away, here’s a comparison from the same perspective:

The only thing that improves are the baked lights for the directional light through the windows

I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but this was while using the project files for a course that was made in a older version of unity (5.3 something) while I’m using the latest (5.5.1f1)

can you check that light component , you should select baked (or mixed) option here, before bake .
