The picture pretty much says it all. I’m using a diffused shader if that is of any help.
Well, there’s two things I can say to try out.
Change the Shader back to Diffuse just to see if that makes a difference.
If that don’t work, how many poly’s is the player?
More polygons = better shadow quality, unless they are static objects, then lightmapping will give beautiful shadows as a texture.
You may want to check on the model in your 3D modelling app. There may be a problem with wonky normals or overlapping verts.
My models sometimes get like this too and I fix them by using Maya’s Set To Face command and then reapplying smoothing.
Turn off all textures and see how it looks. Is there a normal map? Maybe they scale or UVs are off.
