Lightmap keeps enabling itself

heya guys,

i ran into a peculiar issue which iam sure is related to lightmaps.
I baked once my scene in light-maps, then removed those light-maps later and cleared it all. however as soon as i click play, the lightmap returns and causes my shadows and surfaces to deviate from what id like them to look like. when i stop play, the lightmaps has also returned into my scene view and essentialy brightens all surfaces up.

following are two pictures the one with the black shadows is what the game looks like after i press “clear” in the lightmap section
and the second is how it actualy looks once i hit play again. you can see the shadows are noticably brighter as the lightmap for some reason is applied to the textures and brightening up the scene. ambient light is completly disabled as i want to simulate the dark shadows in space. so that aint the issue either.

as said i can get it to look how i want by clearing lightmaps, but as soon as i click play it reverts back.

any help is very much appreciated.

If you baked in Ligtmap Beast, go to Lightmap menu-> map click on lightmap texture and and delete it, also in Ligtmap display uncheck Use Lightmap

there are no lightmaps textures left, i cleared them all, the problem still persists. Where do i find Lightmap display? to uncheck use lightmap

edit, found lightmap display, turned it off, as soon as i hit play it turns itself on again

it seems the lightmaps are still somehow there and used whenever i start the game eventho i completely removed and disabled all aspects of it.

change also object as non static (also if it is terrain) , maybe also delete light and creatre new light

didnt work either, iam pretty much at the end of my knowledge with this.

Did you ever figure this out, I just cannot get it work grrr! the light mapping in the new unity is horrific!
