lightmap problem

I created a simple scene for testing just like unity tutorial and imported it from 3dsmax 2012 - genarate uv - marked static - set one box material to self/illumin emission=8 then BAKE &&&& But the results is a dark scene very dark what ever I do it doesnt work - I reinstall unity and nothing change.
please help!!!

First thought: You have Unity Free, and Unity free doesn’t support illumination from self-illumin materials.
