Anybody know what this is when it’s seen in a lightmap?

Is it just a matter of not having enough resolution?
If I increase the res, they just seem to get sharper. Most of the model looks fine, I just see a couple areas like this and am trying to figure it out.
It could be overlapping UVs.
Most likely caused by not having lightmap UVs. You either need to setup your own non-overlapping UVs or just make sure the mesh asset is setup to generate lightmap UVs on import.
This has happened to me before, on your model select “Generate Lightmap UVS” (it’s called something like that), and then rebake the lighting.
Thanks for the replies, was indeed the lightmap uv’s.
I created a second uv set and my own lightmap uv layout in my 3d app and things look much better.
I know that you can tell Unity to create them itself, but I want to be able to create my own on occasion.
Now I know what the culprit is when I see this issue though!
