Lightmapping in Cinema 4D

Hello Guys,

I’m trying to lightmap a scene in Cinema 4D instead of Unity but so far I have had no luck. I’m using House mesh from Lightmapping in Maya tutorial. I’m able to export fbx from Cinema 4D using two UV Maps and then bake from within Unity without regenerating Lightmap UVs but so far I have not been able to use baked map from Cinema 4D in Unity.

Obviously, one way would be to bake in Unity but I feel comfortable in setting up my scene in Cinema 4D and I want to use that if possible.

Any help/suggestions/pointers are welcome.

I would realy like to know this as well.
So far i manage to bake the whole lightmaps in cinema and use it as material in unity … there are some tutorials on youtube about that.
But the problem for me is, that the textures are just not good enough after baking.
I think there has to be a way to bake the light in cinema and texture the thing in unity. The same way beast does the lightmapping …
Is there anyone who knows this stuff?
