googled that very question and only find tutorials on “how to do lightmapping” but I don’t get any of the interface items I see in the tutorials, yet they never mention the version. I have 4.7 free version- is light mapping even an option? In the simple tutorial I am watching, I am following up to the point where I see the little lightmap box in the scene view like in the tutorial, but then he says “it will bring up this box here” and I do not get that larger box or see where he is getting it from. The whole panel that magically appears then he docks in the inspector panel labeled “Lightmapping”.
o.k. I feel like a total idiot now. I have NEVER used lightmapping before so there is no explanation for this…but. I have two monitors and for some reason, that lightmapping panel I couldn’t find was popping up over on my other monitor which I never saw before because usually have turned off
