Lightmapping issues

hi There,

I baked a complex scene with hundred of objects, which took several hours.
I not clear about the workflow should be, if there are changes:

  • repositioning
  • If objects should be removed
  • If new objects should be added
  • If lightmapping issues occures on certain objects, and I want to rebake them

I understand , that the lighmaps (6 x 2048 in my case) contain all objects, therefore my workoaround would be to export the object which has to be changed and all others which interact with it (light, shadows, GI) and bake them in another Scene and then reimport.
Another major issue, I have is, how to disable the baked light on an object. Uncheck the “static” on an object, and ebnablerealtime lights, does not what I expected.

There is a window specific for light. And per object tab section.
Look here in the video section:

And also, do you need to use lightmapping in your first game? if the answer is yes, Do you need it when you are building the game? I know is a nice effect but there is a possibility that you make all the game without it and later when you are ready you turn it on and at that point light mapper 2018.2 (or 2019) is faster and you have updated your GPU.
