Lightmapping object hierarchy

Hi,

Is there a way to select a hierarchy for lightmapping? I have a rather complex model and I’m getting a little bored selecting each and every piece separately for lightmapping. If I just click on the parent object, it selects the whole thing, but lightmapping window doesn’t seem to understand that?

Also, is there an easy way to figure out the combined polycount for such a compound object?

Marking the hierarchy as Static will change all the children. Also you can change the “Scale in Lightmap” to multiple objects at the same time.

I didn’t realize that they do not need to be selected when baking…
