Lightmapping still broke?

Hi,
I have not seen any threads on the lightmapping issue where it hangs on 5/11 or 7/11 Clustering in 2016. I’m still seeing this in 5.3.4p1, but I’d be shocked that this could still be broke. Does a newer version of unity fix this issue? If not is there an ETA on the fix?

It has been better. Depending on what you want to do it may even be okay.

A lot of gamma stuff are still kinda broken. Mixed is still broken.

With a single directional light set to realtime in the scene my build hangs on 5/11 Clustering | 72 jobs. I left it run overnight with no change. What can I do to get around this? I’m not getting any ambient light from my skybox and thus my scene is dark.

I’d have to see the scene. Lower the precompute resolution by a lot.

Thanks for the tip. Lowering the resolution to .02 allowed me to bake, though it doesn’t look so good. I’ll experiment with different resolutions. Wish there was some feedback along the lines of what resolution is too high/low.

If it takes too long it’s too high, if it looks like crap it’s too low! :stuck_out_tongue:
