Lightmaps not showing in build

For some reason when I build my project, lightmaps only show up correctly when I play on Beautiful. Otherwise, some of the lightmaps don’t seem to work correctly. I was looking at the settings you can change for each quality and nothing seems like it would affect the use of lightmapping.

Anyone have any idea of what I may be doing wrong?

Did you manage to find a solution to this issue Discord? I am experiencing exactly the same issue and cannot seem to work out where I am going wrong (please see attached images).

I am totally new to the external light mapping tools so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.


It may be that the lightmapping is hampered by a non-obvious quality setting (for example, there was recently a bug where antialiasing stopped the camera image effects from working). It’s probably worth trying the options on the Beautiful setting individually. Even if it’s not a bug as such, this process should help you narrow down what is going wrong.

Thanks for the reply andeee. I have tried various settings but cannot seem to resolve the issue.

Since making this forum post I have narrowed it down somewhat. I also was not sure whether this thread was still active so I made my own new thread.

Basically it looks like this happens to any objects that have the combine children script on it. :?
