Lightprobes and Mixed Light Bake type

I have a scene with baked lightmaps and all lights are set to Mixed , the dynamic are still getting lights on them . So whats the point of lightprobes ? Are they not needed anymore ?

Lightprobes are to bake pre-lighting on textures. It only applies for GameObejcts that are configured to be affected by light probes. Realtime lighting, however, is applied at runtime OVER the prebaked lightprobe stuff. What the light probe does is a) give you a realistic light and reflection behavior while keeping performance requirements low.
