Is there a way to achieve lights sort of like this clipart is depicting?
I’ve tried using a cone with a low opacity and shader attached to a spotlight but… It just seemed off. I’ve seen somebody selling something for lights but at this point in time my group has no budget.

Well, put 50 or so cones with very low opacity and every one is just a bit smaller than the last one. Its not very pretty up close but it works.
I think Unity 3 has somesort of “god rays” thing that could do the same but much better. I don’t think they’re volumetric either though
