Lightwave 3D 8, Vue

Hi

I found a bundle with Lightwave 3D 8 Free Upg. to 9 and Vue for 800 €

I wanted to ask if this are good softwares for use with Unity.

(I need to create animated characters with bones and environments all with texture)

or would Carrara 5 with Hexagon be better.

Where can I get the FBX exporter PlugIn for LightWave 3D.

If the main purpose is making art for use in Unity I would not go with lightwave. The best integration with Unity will be with Maya and Cinema 4D.
Cinema 4D is a well priced package, Maya costs a bit more but i guess it is also better.

Hi,
I think as Joachim, Maya is powerful aplication and it seems to work perfect with Unity.
I’m a Maya fan and hope to be an Unity fan.
