Hello I’m Trying to import a Tank into unity from Lightwave.I tried look up ways and i found some but they need FBX i can find that on lightwave 9.2 i think Its on version 9.6.
Is there anyway to update lightwave9.2 to 9.6.
this is my frist game ever on unity so i dont know that much about it.
1.Can it even be done?
2.if it Can then how?
3.If it cant then is can i but the lightwave object into blender or some other free program then inport that into unity?
P.S. I’m using the student version of lightwave.
and the free version of unity.

I am no Lightwave user myself, so I cant confirm that it
s working 100%, but I`d suggest you check out that link, download the exporter and keep us posted 
LW 9.5 was the first version to include a useful native FBX exporter. However I’ve found that using the version linked in the post above produced much more consistent/working results. It should work in everything from 8.2 → whenever.

But it seemed to have rounded sharp edges.
