Lightweight Render Pipeline Gun Clipping

I am trying to make an FPS in Lightweight RP but I can not seem to use the depth camera to solve the Gun clipping issues.

My gun is clipping through the walls etc and normally I would put the gun on its own layer and have a second camera to render that layer in depth mode and have it at depth 1 so i always have it on top.

My problem is that with the 2 camera method this does not seem to work with the LWRP. Help please.

Found a work around. Using a render texture for the second camera and using it as an overlay for a canvas on a Raw Image. Kind of like making a mini map but full screen for the gun.
