Limit

Hello unity3d i have a question. The question is,Is there a limit of vertices i could have in one game? For example if the game i have created hade 41 million vertices would the game still be able to be created or atleast 1 million vertices is that still good for a game? Also i ahve read some articles of saying that if you want microsoft or sony to allow your game to be made by them then you have to have some kind of license from unity in order to do so.Is that statement actually true or false?

It all depends on what platform you’re aiming for, you take your lowest common denominator of machine you’d like to publish on and take it from there. Like CryEngine’s ocean has something crazy like 350,000 poly’s by itself so you’ll not be running CE games with decent frame rates on Intel HD graphics.

Yes you need a license and a company, if you google play station development there is a sign up to be considered.
