Linear or exponential fog for WP8

It seems that Standard Untiy Fog is not shown on all Windows Phone 8 devices.

I wrote a a blog post about how to create a simple custom shader with linear or exponential fog for WP8.

I’ve never measured the performance. But I use the shader in my game Mombari and if I remember correctly, the frame rate was not affected negatively.

In the blog post mentioned above you can download an example project (a simple scene, nothing fancy). But perhaps you can adapt it for your own tests.
