Linking javascript files

I'm trying to link two javascript files in order to use the functions or variables from one file on the other one. I'm not a programmer so I don't know if this is even possible. I know that with C# files we can use the "using" command right? but in javascript?

Thanks for any help

One of the very cool (but potentially confusing) aspects of Unity, is that there are lots of different ways available to access and communicate between the various scripts and systems that make up your game.

There are two extremely useful pages in the manual which take you through most of these techniques:

Until you have these memorised, bookmark them!

Using in C# is for namespace declarations. You can access classes in the same namespace by default. Maybe this is what you are looking for:

var someScript : ExampleScript  = GetComponent (ExampleScript);
someScript.DoSomething ();
