Live Stream Unity Game Creating Learning Course

hello guys i am going to start a live stream on YouTube its for educational purposes,
the live stream is going to be every saturday but until i start i want to discuss with you people what kind of education series you need…

my idea is to start creating a game and finishing it 100%
but the question is : What kind of game would you liked to start creating?
more detail about the livestream duration is up to 3-4 hours,we can make it 1:30 hours or 2 hours i think that less than that wouldn’t be good.something ells that i want to mention is if you want me to include a 3D modeling program learning like 3Ds Max or Maya or Zbrush or both zbrush maya or 3dsmax i dont know give me some ideas, will try to do my best, to achieve this idea and We will see what developments we will have on this process, make a stand-alone game (education) with a livestreaming series and not with tutorial series
i think livestream is going to be more successful because during the stream i can answer your questions.so what you think?

Where would you like to be the livestream ?

YouTube or Twitch ?

THIS SATURDAY THE LIVESTREAM WILL START

I think this would be a great idea and something that I would love to watch as I am very, very new to unity and would love to start from the basics with someone. I also feel that using Blender would be a good option as I’ve heard that this is a good 3D modelling software and it is also free.

I hope that you start these tutorial live streams!

I’m glad you like the idea of livestream. Unfortunately I’ve never worked blender .
i would like to see more feedback  so once its disseminated i will start the livestreaming idea.
so we could also make an android game, what do you think?

so if anyone ells is going to watch this course please comment with +1 or something just to let me know

.Bump

Hey, I’m really new to Unity 3D too. Right now I’m creating a 2D Jump and Run. I would like to see something like a 3D Adventure (I’m not saying it’s going to be big). But you could include basics like HP-Bar, Fighting System (Real time or tab targetting, is up to you), Basic Movement, jumping, quests, Maaaaaybe something like a gold-system, I hope this wouldn’t be to hard. But please don’t do a FirstPersonShooter-Tutorial, there are very much FirstPersonShooter-tutorial outhere. I hope you understand what i want, and would be lucky if I would get a Reply :).

Why is it what we wanna see ?, I would have more fun watching something that you wanna create because you find that funnier.

@joelEbert you gave me some very nice suggestions! i’d love to make all those “systems” you mentioned! ofc im not going to make a fps shooter  because i hate those kind of games ( my opinion)
@lightingBlade i dont know mate you are right on some point but you see that some people want something specific.

so thank you for your opinion guys, waiting for some more feedback

I would love to see this livestream, but I would love even more, if you could make a speed version of it after posting the live-stream. I learn so much with speed making videos in such a small time.

@rafael Barbosa do you mean Time lapse Videos ?

yes, sorry haha, didn’t have the right term.

very good idea, if i find time for it i will upload a speed version of what we learned in livestreams
guys you have some good ideas!

I’m just starting to learn Unity (mostly for fun right now). I think that what I’m looking for in tutorials is:

  • Every segment clearly focus on one particular aspect of the game/technology
  • It is fast (if I need to keep up I can just pause the video)
  • If focuses on Unity 3D specific features/APIs (game logic is not relevant for learning the Unity 3D framework)

Especially on the last point, for me it’s ok if a tutorial goes on implementing an example game GUI/logic as far as I can skip those parts without loosing any Unity 3D related part. As an example, the first few parts of the BurgZerg Hack&Slash tutorial were exploring many Unity 3D specific scripts; but then it started creating a whole GUI with few Unity concepts here and there. Too slow!

I hope this helps you organizing your tutorial. That said, good luck and thank you for your effort!

@Nikso yeah i know about burgzergarcade, petey is a very good programmer in OOP he is using struct inherits , interfaces thats why it looks some kind of complicated slow i think.

So guys i’ve created a forum so if some1 feels like following my livestream just visit here
